The Faster than a Pastor (FTAP) 5K & Fun Run is an exciting event benefiting LABC’s Children’s & Youth which enables kids to participate in our camps, retreats and annual sports leagues. The money we raise through race sponsorship and participation will promote life-changing experiences. All proceeds from the FTAP will be used for individual scholarships as well as underwrite registration needs, allowing everyone to benefit from your generosity. LABC is a religious organization.
ABOUT
Lake Arlington Baptist Church has about 1000 children and students who participate in our Summer Camps, Mission Trips, and Upward Sports each year. We use sports and fun as a vehicle to encourage character growth and life change in students—Kindergarten-Graduating Seniors. The Faster than a Pastor Fun Run is an opportunity for children and students at LABC to engage people in the community to be a part of this life change. Each year, thousands of dollars are given in scholarships so that every student who has the desire to attend can do so without financial limitation. We would love for this number to grow so that more students in our community have that same opportunity.
